Honda Cars India registers total sales of 6,774 units in August'25

New Delhi, September 1, 2025: Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), leading manufacturer of premium cars in India, registered total sales of 6,774 units in August’25. Domestic sales of the company stood at 3,850 units and exports at 2,924 units.

Sharing thoughts on the sales performance, Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd. said, “The market demand owing to Onam festivities was quite strong and boosted our deliveries specially in Kerala and neighbouring states. In view of the ongoing speculations for potential GST rate changes, we followed a cautious approach towards factory despatches in August to align the inventory as per market situation. Early clarity on GST will be crucial to maintain buying momentum, and possible reduction will surely boost auto sales during festive buying season. We are fully prepared to meet the anticipated demand and look forward to serving our customers with enhanced value and satisfaction.”

The company registered 5,326 units in domestic sales and 5,817 units of exports in August’24
